Chris Erick is one of the modern breed of multimedia journalists with Indiana's NewsCenter, having joined our team in June, 2007. In his capacity, Chris develops, shoots, edits and reports his own stories for Indiana's NewsCenter and www.indianasnewscenter.com using digital-age technologies.

Before joining Indiana's NewsCenter, Chris worked in the production departments of both IPFW’s College Cable Access Center and WFWA PBS39.

A native of Fort Wayne, Chris graduated from Northrop High School in 2002. He began his college career as a Music Technology major at IPFW. After exploring several different areas of study and earning an associates degree in psychology with a minor in religious studies, Chris finally settled on a B.A. in Media and Public Communication from IPFW.

Chris lives in Fort Wayne with his wife Courtney and their lovable black Labrador Bo. In his free time Chris enjoys photography, playing guitar, and is an avid lover of all kinds of feature films. At work, Chris enjoys covering artistic and cultural events.
