Emmy award winning reporter Laura Donaldson joined Indiana's NewsCenter in 2008 after attending Ball State University majoring in telecommunications with an emphasis in news production and history. She was Freshman of the Year and remained on the Dean's List all four years.

While at Ball State University, Laura worked on a number of award winning shows including, a documentary that focused on the state of health care in America and abroad and the Emmy award winning entertainment magazine, Connections Live. In addition, she worked as a writer, producer and videographer for the world's largest video production company, Global Video Services.

Working as a producer and anchor for Bands of America in 2006 - 2007, she also hosted their Grand National Championships at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis appearing before a live audience of over 50,000 attendees.

Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, Laura moved to Indiana at the age of five. She considers herself a Hoosier and is honored to join Indiana’s NewsCenter team.
