Jeff Bowman is Indiana NewsCenter's morning popular "live guy,." Together with Mary Collins, Ryan Elijan and Chris Daniels, Jeff is always there for severe weather, breaking news, or just for a little morning fun.

Although Jeff is originally from southern Indiana, he considers Fort Wayne his new home.

Jeff started in radio at Purdue University and then spent 2 years as a radio personality in Vincennes, Indiana. He graduated from Vincennes University.

His first television job was as a news photographer at WLFI TV18 in West Lafayette in 1979.

Jeff moved to WPTA in 1981 as a general assignment photographer and part time reporter. His job has allowed him to travel the country and to Japan to visit our Fort Wayne's sister city of Takaoka.

The "live guy" moved to the morning show in 2002, where he's been helping wake-up Fort Wayne residents with interesting live reporting ever since. Now, Jeff is one of our skilled multi-media journalists who uses state of the art digital technology to bring you the news.

Jeff is married to Kim, and has two daughters, Allie and Katie.
