I grew up in the Chicago area and have bachelors and masters degrees from Northwestern University in Journalism. I worked in television in Boise, Idaho, Washington, DC and Traverse City, Michigan before coming to Indiana's NewsCenter in 1994.

My first job here was weeknight/weekend reporter and eventually, I was hired to co-anchor the morning show and do special reports on a monthly basis.

My husband Mark is a Fort Wayne native. We were married in 2000. Three years later, we were blessed with twin boys, Luke and Matthew. We also have six "four-legged children" adopted from local shelters: three dogs and three cats.

All of that makes for one very busy, but happy household!
