Lawmaker Shocked By Nude Spray-on Tan Case

By WISE Web News

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) - An Indiana lawmaker says he plans to sponsor a bill next session that would bar men from applying spray-on tans to female juveniles at tanning salons. Republican state Rep. Bruce Borders of Jasonville, says he was shocked by a recent case where a man who works at a Linton tanning salon applied a spray-on tan on a nude 15-year-old girl. The girl had forged a note from her mother. The girl's mother found out her daughter didn't need her permission nor is there any statute to prevent a juvenile from being nude inside a spray-tan booth with a male technician. Borders says there should be a law prohibiting that type of activity to protect not only the customers but the business. Borders says he and Democratic state Rep. Sandy Blanton of Orleans will seek to introduce legislation next session putting restrictions on spray-on tanning. (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)

There should definitely be a law in place to protect young girls and women.

If he did nothing unprofessional, when why the fuss. She wanted a service and received one. If she willingly took off all her clothes, there are bigger issues with this girl than getting a spray tan.

I sense a double standard. Would we be freaking out if it was a 50 year old woman spray tanning a 15 year old boy? If it was an older lady spray tanning a teenage boy,
