Senator Bayh's Wife's Earnings In Spotlight

INDIANAPOLIS (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Indiana Senator Evan Bayh is under scrutiny for the payouts his wife receives from some of the same health care companies that would be most impacted by Congress' health care reform plans. Watchdog groups are questioning the 2-million dollars Susan Bayh received by serving on the boards of health care companies. That's partly because Senator Bayh's positions on health care reform issues are unclear. Bayh contends his wife's payments, which he says were earned from 2006 to 2008, don't represent a conflict of interest.

Mr. Bayh is not the one to decide if two million dollars represents a conflict if interest. The people will by the way he votes.
