FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - We begin a new feature called "Angels Among Us."

We want to recognize people in our community who do nice things for others.

Our debut angels are Aboite Elementary students and sisters, Sarah and Jodi Camino. Sarah has juvenile arthritis. Jodi has polycystic kidney disease.

When Linda Jackson visited them at their school recently, they received a special gift from the folks at one of their hospitals, Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.

These girls work hard to make others aware, and their mom couldn't be more proud.

Sarah Camino said, "Not a lot of people understand that kids get arthritis, and they get a different type than adults, so it's important for people to understand that because it sort of stinks having arthritis."

Jodi Camino said, "If someone comes to Riley, and they don't have enough money to pay their bills, Riley will still take care of them, and so they need money to fill up those gaps."

Lynn Camino said, "I'm very proud at their willingness to educate the community; I'm really proud of how they support each other."

With the help of classmates, like at a fudge sale at school, the girls have raised thousands of dollars for the Arthritis Foundation of Northeast Indiana and for Riley. They're both Wal Mart Riley Champions, and they got to meet Peyton Manning!

We want to hear from viewers who now have the opportunity to nominate an "Angel" on our website. Linda will have a story each month.
