Event Description
Our non-profit organization is designed specifically for young women and girls with special needs disabilities. Through pageantry, we help build confidence in the girls and we strive to teach them poise, social skills and perseverance throughout the process. The Miss Amazing Pageant was founded in Omaha, Nebraska by Jordan Somer and is now working in over 30 states since 2007.
This May will be Indiana's very first pageant and we are expecting great things to happen! It will be smaller, as we are just starting out and want to get a base for the 2013 pageant which we foresee being much bigger. If you are, or know a young woman with special needs who is between the ages of 5 and 35, please contact me for more information! Also, if you are interested in volunteering the day of the pageant, let me know!
