Event Description
The 57th Annual; Mizpah Shrine Horse Show will be held at the Shrine Horse Grounds September 23rd and 24th. This Show is one of the longest running Horse Shows in North America. It is anticipated over 400 horses and riders will participate in the event. The Horse Grounds is located approximately 11 miles West of Fort Wayne, 1 mile North of Highway 30 on State Road 9 in Columbia City.
The Wild West Show will consist of two evenings of entertainment from some of the finest trick riders and equestrian acts in the Midwest. There will be plenty of food so come and enjoy the evening with the entire family. Gates open Friday evening at 4:30 with the Show starting at 6:30. Saturday’s Wild West Show will also start at 6:30
Starting at 8:00 AM Saturday will be a day of amateur riders participating in Hunter/Jumper events, the fine art of Dressage riding and of course, an Open Show of English, Western, and Driving events. 3 arenas and 3 judges . Activities for all to enjoy, all day.
Come early Saturday and stay for the evening Show. This is a full day of the finest entertainment for a price of $5.00 per person.
All net proceeds from the Show go to support the Shriner’s Hospitals for Children. This network of 19 hospitals is a health care system dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing specialty pediatric and burn care . All services, and transportation is provided regardless of the patients’ or their families’ ability to pay.
