The benefit includes a hog roast, live auction, silent auction, bake sale and a live band.

Dennis Hoover of Indiana Real State will lead the auction from 6-8 p.m. and Martin Brothers Blues Band will play from 8-11 p.m.
The day also will include kid games, face painting and a coloring contest.
A third benefit is a “Dine-to-Donate” event at Applebee’s on Tuesday, October 2.
Snyder is a lifelong resident of Auburn. She was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer in May 2012 and is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Snyder has no health care, and will have to wait two years before she is eligible for Medicare. She is not eligible for Medicaid. Friends and family are hosting the benefits to help alleviate the costs of her treatment and for future expenses.
Snyder graduated from DeKalb High School in 1968 and worked as a longtime employee of DeKalb Health in the information technology department. She has two children, John Farmer and Crystal Bowman of Auburn and a stepdaughter Holly Clemens of Hamilton. Farmer is the grandmother of Raina Farmer of Auburn, Piper Farmer of Waterloo and Kyle Kissinger of Hamilton.
Donations for the rummage sale may be dropped off at UAW between 5-8 p.m., Friday, Aug. 24.
Donations can be made to the Susan J. Snyder Irrevocable Trust at Community State Bank, 708 West Seventh Street. For any questions about the benefit contact Jennifer Beebe at 925-0145.
