Learn about Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and get the tools to help you let go of stress, chronic pain, anxiety, depression and the symptoms of many debilitating diseases. MBSR offers mind-body practices that can help you experience a greater sense of well-being: meditation, the body scan, gentle yoga, CDs for home practice and the book, Meditation for Beginners, by Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD. This eight-week course, will be offered on Mondays from Sept. 23 to Nov. 11 and Saturdays from Sept. 28 to Nov. 16.
