“Flowers on the River” is the opening event for Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October.
Each flower thrown onto the river symbolizes a life that has been affected by domestic violence. Participants gather at the YWCA on Spy Run Avenue at 5:00 pm and walk together to bridge at 5:15.
