Victory Noll Center is presenting opportunities to join a conversation, share a delicious meal and to discover a greater self-awareness of how to change the world one person at a time.
The series “Dinners & Dialogues” is an interactive experience addressing topics of faith and social justice to help foster a deeper understanding of social issues that impact everyone on a daily basis.
Following a shared meal, there will be discussion with the goal of sharing wisdom and inspiring all to live life more fully engaged in faith through action.
The first event will be from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, February 14, with the topic “Loving from an Empowered Voice.” The focus will be on the role of communication in relationships and learning skills that will support using an empowered voice in loving kindness in relationships.
The next program will be Friday, April 25, and will feature the topic “We are One Body: Nourishment as Relationship.” Following the nourishment of a meal from gifts of the bountiful Earth, the experience will continue with contemplative thought expanding the understanding of nourishment coming from being in a relationship with God, each person’s body, each other and the Earth.
The value for each event is $20 per person or $35 for a couple. Registration is required one week prior to each program.
