“Pink Day” Fundraiser/Event

Neuhouser Nursery and Neuhouser Garden & Gifts will be holding a “Pink Day” Fundraiser/Event at both locations on Saturday June 9th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to raise money and awareness for groups fighting breast cancer. Ten percent of all sales during this day will be donated to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana. The Pink ‘Invincibelle’ Hydrangea will also be featured, where $1 from each plant sold is donated nationally to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Donated items for “Hope in a Handbag” will also be collected and $5 Neuhouser Gift Certificates will be handed out in exchange.*

Door prizes will be given out every half hour all day to attendees for items from Neuhouser’s - and other locally owned businesses like the Firefly Coffeehouse, Fort Wayne Outfitters and Bike Depot, Vince’s Restaurant, Tranquil Touch Spa, Three Rivers’ Co-op, Green Dog Goods, DeBrand Fine Chocolates, Vera Bradley, and more- who are helping to make this fundraiser a success. The grand prize will be a $50 Gift Certificate from Neuhouser’s.

DJ’s from will be performing at both locations. Jimmy from Van Halst will be cutting long locks of hair for Locks of Love donations at the Garden & Gifts Shop location.

*Customers bringing in the following items for donation to “Hope in a Handbag,” will receive a $5 Gift Certificate to use at Neuhouser’s at a later date:
• **3 or 5 pack of men’s 100% cotton, sleeveless, undershirts sz. Lg. (‘Hane’s’ A-shirt)
• **‘Cottonelle’ or ‘Scott’ pre-moistened flushable wipes
• Individual rolls of ‘Lifesavers’
• Blank Note Cards - large & pretty (for recipients to write to “Hope in a Handbag”)
• Lip Balm
• Books of first class stamps
• Journals for recipients to write in
• Single subject folders to recipients to keep information in.
