Frontier Communications along with Columbia Street West, Erie Insurance, Three Rivers Running Club and the Fort Wayne Track Club announced the return for the 2nd annual Frontier Run 'n Fun 10K road race. The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 19 in the downtown area of Fort Wayne. Last years’ race drew an estimated 300+ runners, this year’s race is on pace to surpass the number of registrations over last year. This year’s race will also include a 5K Run/Walk.

The Fort Wayne Track Club is managing the race; therefore, the race is a fully sanctioned Points Race. Officials have designed the course so that runners will experience a relatively flat, fast, and accurate 10K course through the West Central neighborhood, Main St., Nebraska neighborhood (Osage St.), and Swinney Park.

Trade your race stories at the conclusion of the race, by attending the post-race party on The Landing in front of Columbia Street West. Live music along with an enjoyable light lunch & beverages are included in the entry fee!

Jon Beasley, Race Coordinator shared, “We are extremely pleased with the support of our sponsors, this event would not be the success that it is without their support. I also want to thank Frontier Communications for their generous support for this race; this is the second year that Frontier Communications stepped in as our primary sponsor for this event.” Beasley finished with, “To see this race grow and to watch the community as they help support our efforts is amazing, Thank You, Fort Wayne”.

Greg Stephens , Area General Manager, Frontier Communications said, “This event started out as a replacement race for a much larger race that was featured in Fort Wayne, the Fort Wayne Track Club stayed true to their beliefs and now we have an great regional event that we can showcase not only our running talent, but our city as well”. Stephens went on to say, “Frontier Communications is proud to stand behind Jon and his team as they build and grow this event, it is our pleasure to assist”
