We are having our 7th Annual Ken Jennings Putt for PSP at South Shore Golf Course this Saturday, July 28th.
It is going to be fantastic! We are selling golf ball chances for a golf ball drop contest ($5 each). The winner does not need to be present to win, but they will receive 10% of the total sold. A second winner will win the chance to take a putt for $2500. The Syracuse Fire Department will drop all the balls sold onto a tarp from a ladder truck at 1pm. The closest and furthest balls from the target will win. We have some fabulous prizes for the golf...a $5000 putting contest, as well as a $10,000 prize for a hole-in-one.

We will also have the oldest operational firetruck in the country (built in 1912) on hand from 11:30-2 pm. People can get there pictures taken with the truck and find out about its history racing, etc...

Saturday, July 28th is also National Dance Day. We are also teaching the national Zumba dance from So You Think of You Dance at our Zumba fundraiser at 9:30 in the Pavilion at South Shore Golf Course. The class will be instructed by Shannon Baker of Lakeside Fitness. There is a suggested $10 donation at the door and advance registration is not required. There will be amazing door prizes, samples and goodies!
