Second Annual Interior Design Senior Exhibition Showcases Studio
Projects
Ten students in the interior design program at
Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) will have their
design concepts showcased in both two dimensional drawings and digital three dimensional models, at the second annual Senior Exhibition, Friday, May 4 through Sunday, May 20 at the Visual Arts Gallery in the Visual and Performing Arts Building.

The exhibition will showcase studio projects in two capstone courses
offered in the students’ fourth year. “The senior projects are
real-world projects that include, but are not limited to, residential,
commercial, hospitality, and healthcare design. Students have the
opportunity to go through the entire design process and interact with
real clients. The capstone courses serve as a bridge between the
theories the students learn in the classroom and how to put those
theories into practice. Each of the students chose their own project,
based on their personal interests,” said Suining Ding, the program’s
coordinator.

An Opening Night Reception will be held Friday, May 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Visual Arts Gallery. The reception and the exhibition are free and open to the public. The exhibition can be viewed weekdays from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

For more information, contact Ding at 260-481-6008 or dings@ipfw.edu.
