The United Methodist Church has sponsored a home build through the Northeast United Methodist Task Force for Habitat for Adam and Julie Bridges. The Northeast United Methodist Task Force is organized of several churches in the Allen County area and is chaired by John Roser.
Adam and Julie Bridges have three children between the ages of 2 and 9. The Bridges family has put in 300 hours of “sweat equity,” doing everything from helping with construction, donating time at the Habitat Restore, to working with the aluminum can recycling program.
The public is invited to attend the dedication of Bridges’ home, located at 4206 Patrick Lane on Friday, October 29th at 4 PM. There will be a short blessing of the house and opportunities to tour the house before and after the dedication. For more information about the dedication or Habitat for Humanity, please call (260) 422-4828 or visit the website at www.fortwaynehabitat.org.
