Winter on the Indiana frontier comes alive at the Old Fort. Come and discover the rigors of daily life for a soldier at a wilderness fort. Members of several midwestern American Revolution reenacting units will spend the weekend at the Old Fort, recreating the daily duties of officers, enlisted men and their families in the late 1700’s, including cartridge rolling and musket repair. Artisans will display period crafts and activities, including quilting, spinning and cooking. Warm yourself by the fire, and spend Presidents’ Day weekend exploring our heritage, and the unique experiences of those who forged our country.
The Fort will be open to the public: Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Sunday 10:00 am – 2:00 p.m.
