Northrop PTSA is hosting a College & Career Night for all area middle and high school students on Wednesday, November 14th, 2012 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at Northrop High School. Last spring Northrop PTSA won a grant for National PTA’s Take Your Family To School Week and put on a very well-attended event where over 600 students and parents got information. We moved this event to the fall to appeal to more families and to give them a head start on planning as college applications become due and before scheduling takes place in 2013 for courses. Northrop PTSA is self-funding this as part of budget this year because we believe it is so important to families in our area. Our PTSA especially encourages middle school families to come and get information so that they can get a jump start on planning for the future and what courses to take in high school that match their interests.

Scott Robinson from State Farm is donating a Nexus 7 tablet and ITT Exelis is donating a Kindle Fire HD. There will also be shirts from all participating colleges that will be used for door prizes for students.
