Event Description
Allen County 4-H Shooting Sports Club will be hosting an Archery class open to all youth in grades 5-12.
The first meeting will be Monday, March 25, 2013 from 7– 8 p.m. at the Allen County Extension Office, 4001 Crescent Ave, Fort Wayne, IN. All Subsequent meetings will be Saturdays mornings from 10 am – 12 Noon at the Allen County Fairgrounds, on Carroll Road, April 13, 20, 27, May 4, 11 and 18.
The cost of the program is $40.00 per child which includes State & County Enrollment Fes. All equipment is provided. This series will teach safe handling of equipment, proper care of equipment, shooting techniques and ethics of good shooters. Instructors are certified through the Indiana 4-H Shooting Sports Program of Purdue University and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
The class is limited to the first 30 participants who have registered and paid. Minimum number is required to hold the class. Registration and payment is due April 2.
