Event Description
Thursday, January 12, 6:30 – 8 pm
Wait, what’s going on here? Roses are flowers, not herbs, right? Actually roses are in the same botanical family as apples and have many similar culinary uses.
Sue Kruse, Advanced Master Gardener and Conservatory volunteer, will discuss a number of these, such as rose hip jam and using
rose water as a flavoring in place of vanilla. Ages 14-adult. Registration deadline: January 6. Fee: $7,
Conservatory Member Fee: $4. Call (260) 427-6011 to register.
