Science Fun: The Seedy Side of Things
Saturday, March 15, 11am & 1pm
Seeds come in all shapes and sizes. Join us as we look at a variety of different seeds and explore all of the properties these tiny beings have to offer. You’ll be astonished that a large plant can come from such a small seed. We’ll be exploring the inner workings of a seed by dissecting them to see what exactly they have to offer. You’ll leave knowing that big things can come in small packages. Preregistration is not required and the program is free with regular Conservatory admission (members and volunteers admitted free): $5/adult, $3/child age 3-17. Children age 2 and under free. For more info, call (260) 427-6440.

April Flowers
Saturday, April 19, 11am & 1pm
Usually April showers bring May flowers, except when you’re at the Conservatory! Flowers can be enjoyed year-round under our 1500 some-odd panes of glass. Let’s take this time to examine the anatomy of a flower by dissecting it. We’ll learn about each part and its purpose without worrying about any showers. Preregistration is not required and the program is free with regular Conservatory admission (members and volunteers admitted free): $5/adult, $3/child age 3-17. Children age 2 and under free. For more info, call (260) 427-6440.
