IPFW Gene Marcus Piano Competition
For Young Pianists Up to Age 18
Within 100 Miles of Fort Wayne

Final Round Jury:
Panayis Lyras, Michigan State University
Laura Melton, Bowling Green State University
Caio Pagano, Arizona State University
Four age divisions: ages 9 and under through age 18
More than $3,000 in cash prizes
Winners recital to be broadcast on northeast Indiana's public television station, PBS39
Senior division winners may also receive a scholarship

Application postmark deadline: Saturday, May 4, 2013
First-round live auditions*: Saturday and Sunday, May 18 and 19, 2013
Finals: Sunday, June 9, 2013

IPFW Gene Marcus Piano Camp
For Young Pianists Ages 12-18
from All Areas
A Week of Intensive Piano Study and Performance Including:

Group sessions and individual lessons with camp faculty
Master class with internationally renowned pianist Caio Pagano, Arizona State University
Practice sessions guided by experienced practice coaches
Alexander technique
Music theory/keyboard skills classes
Daily faculty, guest artist and student recitals
Residential and commuter options
Camp begins immediately following the IPFW Gene Marcus Piano Competition, on the evening of Sunday, June 9, and runs through Friday, June 14.
