The concert will feature Jennifer Volk performing Joel Puckett's award winning Shadow of Sirius. Volk is the Fort Wayne Philharmonic mentor and faculty member. Other works include Maslanka’s Mother Earth Fanfare, Wagner’s Trauersinfonie, Copland's El Salón Mexico , and Sousa’s Free Lance March.

Guest artist and chief musician Joshua Thomas, associate principal saxophone of the United States Coast Guard Band will join the ensembles for this spectacular final concert of the season! Works include Strauss’s beautiful Allerseelen from his Four Last Songs, Shostakovitch’s Folk Dances, and Donald Grantham’s Southern Harmony.
