January 19, The Fort Wayne Derby Girls Kick Off Their Most Exciting Season Yet
In just a few short weeks Fort Wayne’s own Derby Girls will be back at the coliseum for the 2013 season opener. This bout marks the beginning of the leagues 8th year of skating for a cause and is expected to draw huge crowds. The Fort Wayne Derby Girls, who’s training for the season began back in August, will go head to head with The Bleeding Heart Roller Girls of Bloomington Indiana. Home bouts for FWDG are held at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum with doors opening at 5pm and the first of two games beginning at 6pm.
Proceeds from the January 19th bout will go to benefit Noble House Ministries, a charity that offers help to women and children who have suffered from domestic violence, addiction, or homelessness.
Doors Open: 5:00pm
SWAT Team Bout Begins: 6:00pm
Bomb Squad Bout Begins: 7:30pm
Admission:
