Local Patriot and Current Colts Player to Share Inspiring Paths to the NFL

Marine Corporal Josh Bleill and current Colts quarterback Chandler Harnish will each share their inspiring life stories in the Bellmont High School Auditorium at 6:30pm on March 4, a free event sponsored by the Men’s Community Fellowship of Adams County.

A Greenfield, IN native and Purdue University graduate, Corporal Bleill joined the United States Marine Corps in 2004. Activated for a tour of duty in 2006, Corporal Bleill was severely injured in Iraq, losing both of his legs while serving his country. After extensive rehabilitation, Corporal Bleill has returned home to Indiana, establishing a new life and finding a new purpose in his role as the Indianapolis Colts Community Spokesperson.

Corporal Bleill now travels the country to spread his message of hope “one step at a time,” and he has been described by Indianapolis Colts Owner Jim Irsay as, “very talented, bright-eyed, and skilled.”

Prior to Corporal Bleill, Bluffton native and Norwell High School graduate Chandler Harnish, now of the Indianapolis Colts, will also speak about his life experiences. Chandler attended Northern Illinois University and was the last player drafted (253rd pick) in the 2012 NFL draft by the Indianapolis Colts. Chandler was on the Colts practice squad most of the 2012 season and has been re-signed by the Colts where he will be given the chance to fill the backup roll at quarterback in the 2013 season.

Admission is free with proceeds from free will donations going to Wounded Warriors.
