Event Description
ARCH—Fort Wayne’s organization for historic preservation-- announces that its annual Home and Garden Tour will be held in historic Wildwood Park Neighborhood, in Fort Wayne, Indiana on Saturday, June 16th from 12:00 until 5:00pm (EDT). This annual event features historic homes and neighborhoods throughout the city. The Wildwood Park Neighborhood has been nominated as a Historic District to the National Register of Historic Places. This neighborhood features architecturally significant homes and the delightfully planned roads and parks designed by nationally prominent landscape architect Arthur Shurcliff.
The Wildwood Park Home and Garden Tour will feature almost a dozen houses and gardens, in a variety of architectural styles.
The Wildwood Park Historic Home and Garden Tour is part of ARCH’s 2012 Community Education Program, sponsored in part by Arts United, the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne and Lincoln Financial Group Foundation. Contact ARCH for more information and to purchase tickets, which will be available beginning May 25. Advance tickets are $10, and will be $12.00 the day of the tour.
