George Kessler and Fort Wayne’s Enduring City Plan Lecture
Tuesday, June 5, 2:00 p.m. at The History Center
Featuring Jim Sack, Germanfest founder and Friends of the Parks Board Member

This event is possible through the Partnership of Germanfest 2012, The History Center and Friends of the Parks of Allen County, Inc. Admission is free to the public. Contributions are welcome and will go directly to Friends of the Parks, to help advance their mission.

This event is part of a year-long celebration of Fort Wayne’s landscape legacy, based on its first city plan, the park and boulevard system designed in 1912 by noted landscape architect George Edward Kessler. For more information please see the attached media release.

The mission of The Friends of the Parks is to promote the stewardship and celebration of the scenic, historic and recreational resources of the parks and public spaces in Fort Wayne.
