Caring About People, Inc. announces “No Dirty Dishes for a Week” for your chance to win restaurant gift certificates so you don’t have to worry about doing dishes for a week! This annual fundraising event will be held on Saturday, September 14th at the Wunderkammer Company, located at 3402 Fairfield Ave, Ft. Wayne (the old Casa d’Angelo’s) from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.
Pre-event tickets are $15 which includes one raffle ticket, or $20 at the door. Additional raffle tickets to win “No Dirty Dishes” may be purchased for $5 or 5 for $20. You do not need to be present to win the raffle. To purchase tickets for “No Dirty Dishes for a Week” call the Caring About People office at 260-424-5814 or visit the website. All proceeds help Caring About People provide affordable counseling services to the local community.
Complimentary appetizers and beverages are included in the event ticket price. A cash bar will be available. Music will be provided by pianist Mario Cervantes. Attendance at the event also offers an opportunity to win additional raffle prizes donated by local businesses.
Silouan Green will be the keynote speaker. Green survived severe Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after a tragic jet crash while training for the Marine Corps. His Ladder UPP program is dedicated to helping give others the tools, inspiration and guidance necessary to change their lives.
Caring About People, Inc. is a 501(c) (3) organization that provides comprehensive mental health services to adults, teens and families. It is their mission to serve as a catalyst for people to develop and improve their quality of life by providing at-risk individuals with the resources and skills they need to live without substance abuse and high risk behaviors. Services are provided in both English and Spanish and in-home case management is available.
