A Healing Field is a flag display set up in recognition of a
particular event or group of people. Made of American flags,
the Bryant Field display will consist of approximately 3,000
flags representing the military personnel and veterans who
have fought to protect our freedom in the present as well
as the past along with law enforcement, firefighters, EMS
and first responders. This event will take place over the 10th
anniversary of the 9-11 attack on our country. What better
time to reflect and honor those who protect our lives and our
These 3′X5′ flags will stand 8′ tall in perfect rows. This living display of heroism will fly as a temporary patriotic tribute to military personnel and veterans who have fought to protect our freedom in the present as well as the past along with law enforcement, firefighters, EMS and first responders. The event will also commemorate the 10 year anniversary of all those who died September 11, 2001.
It is an opportunity to offer this area an event
that is not political, yet is patriotic, and is well-suited to
families (no cost unless you choose to sponsor a flag for
$30). This event will be a celebration of our freedoms and a
chance to reflect upon the sacrifices being made daily by our
soldiers and first responders, protecting these freedoms.
Please join us and walk this awe inspiring display of flags. This is the perfect opportunity for all of us to unite as a community to remember, honor and heal.
Sponsor a flag for $30 and continue to fly it proudly at your
home or place of business. Individuals and volunteer groups
wanting to assist with this community project can also
participate in one of the event activities or multiple, as time
permits. Some of the volunteer opportunities include:
• Putting flags together
