Event Description
second annual Rotors Over Mentone helicopter fly in event at the Lawrence D Bell Aircraft Museum 210 South Oak Street Mentone, Indiana on Saturday September 24 from 10AM to 2PM.
There is a web link you can check out at http://bellaircraftmuseum.org On the homepage is a poster for this years fly in with pictures from last years event.
The purpose of the event is to promote the preservation of aviation history and raise awareness of the not for profit, volunteer run museum. Lawrence Bell is the founder of Bell Aircraft Corporation and was born in Mentone Indiana.
Last year we had 12 helicopters fly in on a crummy weather day. One was a Vietnam era Huey. With good weather we could have many more this year.
The event is open to the public. There will be helicopter rides available.
