September 11, 5:30-9:30 pm; October 21, 1-5 pm; November 12, 5:30-9:30 pm, and December 12, 1-5 pm. Workshop topics include an introduction to the program as well as Choosing an Account Right for You; Managing Your Account; Keys to Successful Money Management and Credit. All workshops will be held at the Allen County Extension Office and are free and open to the public. Preregistration is required. At the completion of the workshop, the participants will receive a certificate that will allow them to open an account at a participating bank or credit union. A $50 incentive is available for opening an account, if qualified.
