Join The Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and a host of other sponsors on May 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a hiring fair for veteran job seekers, active duty military members, Guard and Reserve members and eligible spouses in the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, 4000 Parnell Ave., Fort Wayne, Ind.

This event will be a one-of-a-kind FREE hiring fair for employers who are committed to hiring veterans and job seekers.

Employers and job seekers are strongly encouraged to pre-register for FREE at HoH.GreatJob.net. Walk-ins are welcome but space is not guaranteed. If you need assistance registering, please contact The U.S. Chamber of Commerce at hiringourheroes@uschamber.com.

The event is being conducted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, The Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce, the Department of Labor’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (DOL VETS), the Indiana Committee of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), the 122 Force Support Squadron, the 1-293 Infantry Batallion, NIHRA, WorkOne Northeast, NBC News, and other local partners.

In March 2011, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce launched Hiring Our Heroes, a nationwide initiative to help veterans and military spouses find meaningful employment. Working with a network of 1,600 state and local chambers and other strategic partners from the public, private, and non-profit sectors, its goal was to create a movement across America in hundreds of local communities where veterans and military families return every day.
