Do your Holiday Shopping while supporting a local cause!
On November 20th at 8pm through November 27th at 8pm Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana's Online Holiday Auction will help raise funds to support over 101,000 northern Indiana students in the 2012-2013 school year.
Ranging in value from less than $20 to more than $1000, each item will be sold to the highest bidder. Because the items have been donated, all proceeds will support educator-requested JA programming for more than 101, pre-kindergarten through high school young people across northern Indiana this year.
“These items have been donated by dozens of generous individuals and businesses in support of Junior Achievement’s mission of empowering young people to own their future economic success,” says Lena Yarian, President, Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana. “The online auction offers an accessible way for community members to support local JA learning opportunities that enable young people to experience and realize the opportunities and realities of work in the global marketplace.”
This year’s JA Online Holiday Auction will include: Local Restaurant Gift Certificates (Club Soda, CHOPS, Hall's, etc.), Tickets to College and Professional Sporting Events(Notre Dame, USF, Komets, etc.), Tickets to area Performances(FW Philharmonic, FW Youth Theatre, etc.), Fitness Memberships(FW YMCA, Spiece, Amer. Health & Fitness), Vera Bradley Items, Behind-the-Scenes Tour of the FW Children's Zoo, Overnight Stay in Indianapolis, Coca-Cola For a Year, and much, much more...
