Participants:

H.O.P.E. for Animals – Free rabies and distemper/parvo vaccines, $5 heartworm tests, spay/neuter vouchers

Allen County SPCA – $5 microchips

Fort Wayne Pet Food Pantry – Free food distribution

Fort Wayne Pit Bull Coalition – Education and assistance for pit bull owners

First come, first serve
Will go until 4pm or until supplies run out
Spay and Neuter Vouchers are for pit bull type dogs only, all other services are available for all dogs.

H.O.P E. FOR ANIMALS WILL PROVIDE FREE RABIES VACCINES AND DISTEMPER/PARVO VACCINES, $5 HEARTWORM TESTS, AND WILL HAVE $3,000 WORTH OF SPAY AND NEUTER VOUCHERS FOR PIT BULLS, FUNDED BY THE RYAN NEWMAN FOUNDATION. RYAN NEWMAN IS A NASCAR DRIVER, AND HE AND HIS WIFE, 8KRISSIE, CREATED THE FOUNDATION, WHOSE MISSION IS TO EDUCATE AND ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO SPAY AND NEUTER THEIR PETS AND TO ADOPT ANIMAL COMPANIONS FROM SHELTERS.

H.O.P.E. WILL BE PARTNERING WITH OTHER LOCAL ANIMAL WELFARE ORGANIZATIONS. THE ALLEN COUNTY SPCA WILL BE PROVIDING $5 MICRO-CHIPS; THE FORT WAYNE PET FOOD PANTRY WILL BE DOING A FREE FOOD DISTRIBUTION, AND THE FORT WAYNE PIT BULL COALITION WILL BE ON SITE. VACCINES AND OTHER SERVICES WILL BE AVAILABLE ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS WHILE SUPPLIES LAST, OR UNTIL 4:00 P.M.

H.O.P.E. FOR ANIMALS IS EXCITED TO OFFER THESE MUCH NEEDED RESOURCES IN ORDER TO BETTER THE LIVES OF THE COMPANION ANIMALS IN OUR CITY. THE SUPPORT WE HAVE RECEIVED FROM THE RYAN NEWMAN FOUNDATION, THE GLOBAL ALLIANCE FOR RABIES CONTROL, PHIZER ANIMAL HEALTH, AND BOEHRINGER-INGELHEIM HAS ALLOWED US TO REACH OUT TO A LARGE NUMBER OF ANIMALS IN NEED THIS FALL. ADDITIONALLY, PARTNERING WITH THE ALLLEN COUNTY SPCA, THE FORT WAYNE PET FOOD PANTRY, AND THE FORT WAYNE PIT BULL COALITION HAS CREATED ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY FOR A UNITED FRONT FOR ANIMAL WELFARE IN FORT WAYNE THAT WILL CONTINUE TO GROW.
