Smart Start Storytime for Preschools, Daycares, and Other Groups

Preschools & Daycares are invited for 30 minutes of stories, fingerplays, early literacy activities, and fun! Ages 3-6.
Smart Start Storytime is designed to support Indiana's Preschool Foundations.
Please call in advance (260-421-1220) to register your group.

Wednesdays from 07/11 to 08/29, 9:30 AM-10:00 AM
Wednesdays from 9/5 to 9/12 at 9:30am. (There will be NO public storytime on September 19 or 26 to allow Librarians to bring stories & books to area preschools and daycares.)
Wednesdays from 10/3 to 10/31 at 10:30am.
On Sept. 5, Join us for this special storytime with ballerina Lucia Rogers of Fort Wayne Ballet. Listen to stories, learn dance steps and have your picture taken with Miss Lucia.

Preschoolers and their grownups are invited to attend a storytime designed to help them as they begin to read.

Wednesdays, August 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 at 10:30 a.m. Enjoy stories, crafts, music and fun for preschoolers and their caregivers.

Pontiac Branch Library, 2215 S. Hanna
Fridays, August 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, 10:30 a.m. Special storytime for preschoolers and their caregivers. Spend 30 minutes with us at the library and hear new stories, sing songs, and learn some fingerplays.

Tecumseh Branch Library, 1411 East State Blvd.
Tuesdays, August 7, 14, 21, 28, 10:30 a.m. Ages 3 – 6 and their caregivers. Listen to stories, play games and make crafts. It’s fun and educational at the same time.

Waynedale Branch Library, 2200 Lower Huntington Road
Mondays, August 6, 13, 20, & 27 10:30 a.m. and Tuesdays, August 7, 14, 21, 28 10:30 a.m.
Children 3 – 5 years of age and their caregivers are invited to this storytime.

Woodburn Branch Library, 4701 State Road 101 North:
Fridays, August 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, 10:30 a.m. This Storytime features finger plays, songs, stories of various lengths and crafts.
