ACRES celebrates its Blue Jean Gala on Thursday, June 7, 2012.
A gala unlike any other, this one is casual. Held outside on the grounds of the Joseph Decuis Farm guests will enjoy a carriage ride from their car to the pavilion where they will treat their taste buds to the cuisine of Joseph Decuis while tunes from the Possum Trot Band entertain. The dinner bell rings at 5:30 p.m. and farm tours by hay wagon are scheduled for 6:30, 7:00, 7:30 and 8:00 p.m. Guests will encounter a surprise or two along the self-guided property hikes. A silent auction in the beautiful Carriage House features a stay in a luxurious Toronto, Canada condominium, artwork, outdoor adventures and other treasures. And, unlike other Galas, children are encouraged to attend!
