Paws to Read
Do you like dogs? Do you like reading? Then you'll want to visit the Library on Thursday night and read a story to a book-loving dog. Samantha or Morgan will be here every week with their handlers - and they want to listen to you read! Research shows that children enjoy improving their reading skills by practice reading to animals. Morgan and Samantha and their handlers will have an hour to spend at the Library; readers will take turns as time allows.

Cut. It. Out. (and maybe glue it!) This isn't your average paperwork. This is all about designing with cut-paper and collage! We will take a look at some super-great artists who have created wonderful works of art with paper. And we will talk about some of the techniques they used. And we will make some of our own super-great works of art using paper and scissors! (and maybe glue.)
Fun in the ELC
Something new is coming to the Early Learning Center! One Saturday per month from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, there will be a program designed especially for children aged 6 and younger in the ELC! This month we'll be talking about lines and measurement.
