FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - In this week's episode of Cool Science Monday, Martin Fisher from Science Central teaches us about a unique species of frog found in Africa.
African Clawed Frogs are carnivores, they eat meat, and have large, webbed hind feet for swimming and on each rear foot are 3 “clawed toes” for tearing food. They use their un-webbed front feet to push food into their mouth because they don’t have a long, sticky tongue like most frogs do for catching food.
