Huntington Plant Finds Buyer

HUNTINGTON, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - An Ontario barbecue grill manufacture has reached an agreement to purchase the former CFM Majestic facility in Huntington for $2 million.



There was no word today from buyer Onward Manufacturing, of Waterloo, Ontario, on its plans for the plant.



A hearing to approve the sale is scheduled for Aug. 14. The deal is expected to close no later than early November.



CFM employed about 400 people in Huntington when CFM Corp. filed for bankruptcy and began liquidation procedures in early April.
