BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) - A garbage truck driver says he was
surprised to find a four-year-old boy huddled beneath a blanket on
a sidewalk in Bloomington in the pre-dawn hours.

Hoosier Disposal driver Wayne Combs was making his rounds at
3:30 a.m. Wednesday when he noticed a bundle on the sidewalk. As he
backed up his truck to investigate, the bundle moved.

Combs found the boy uninjured but naked and cold under the
blanket. The boy said he didn't know where he lived, so Combs
carried him to the cab of his truck to keep warm while he called
police.

Police arrived and determined that the boy had been reported
missing from a nearby apartment complex and returned him to his
parents.

Police say the boy left the home through a dog door after being
put to bed.
