Ingredients

Chili Beef Soup
Air Date: 10/7/2008

6 to 8 servings

1/2 pound ground beef
1 medium-sized onion, chopped
1 (14-1/2-ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
1-1/2 cups water
1 (16-ounce) can kidney beans, undrained
1 (8-ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
1 teaspoon chili powder

Directions


  1. In a soup pot, brown ground beef and onion over medium heat 5 to 7 minutes. Add remaining ingredients; mix thoroughly.
  2. Reduce heat to low and simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes, or until thoroughly heated.
NOTE: Tortilla Crisps make a great go-along.
