FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - The Fort Wayne Police Department urge drivers to take extreme caution on I-69.
Police say the Interstate is 'extremely slick.' Multiple accidents have been reported as far as Exit 299 through exit 309.
The majority of the accidents have occured due to changing lanes and sliding out of control.
The road was closed for a short period of time but is now open, police said.
State Road 8, between County Roads 41 and 43 in DeKalb County, is closed at this time due to a rollover vehicle crash. Motorists are urged to avoid that area and to seek an alternate route of travel.
