FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – Possible meth-making materials were discovered today at 1205 Orchard Street in Fort Wayne.

Fort Wayne Police have not released the incident report nor have they released who was arrested.

The home on Orchard Street sits just one block from the Bloomingdale Elementary School. Hazmat-like crews emptied the home of what appeared to be meth-making materials and quarantined the home.

Neighbors peered from porches and windows. They appeared both shocked and appalled that a possible meth lab had been in operation just steps from their front doors and one block from the elementary school.

Former Bloomingdale Neighborhood Association President Scott Adams called the scene shameful. He said, “It’s, it’s actually a shame to see them willing to poison their friends, their family, kids next to the school.”
