FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - An arrest has been made in last month's attempted armed robbery of a Fort Wayne post office.

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service and Fort Wayne Police Department's Gang Unit and Violent Crimes Unit arrested Julius W. Lawson, 34, of Fort Wayne, without incident.

Lawson faces felony robbery charges after police say he attempted to rob the U.S. post office at Diplomat Plaza, 4171 Hessen Cassel Rd., on Dec. 19.

A second suspect remains on the loose, police say.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the second suspect, or any other possible information on the case is asked to report it to the Fort Wayne Police Department.
