FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - I&M has restored power to all ratepayersleft in the dark following the June 29 and July 5 storms.
I&M says 118,000 people in Northeast Indiana initially lost power June 29. Ninety-five percent of eletrical circuts were damaged in the storm, according to I&M.
A second storm July 5th knocked power out to thousands of additional customers. I&M had predicted full restoration might take until Sunday night but power crews finished ahead of schedule.
Any customers still without power are asked to contact Indiana Michigan Power at 800-311-4634.
I&M officials say they wish to thank customers for their support of the restoration crews and fort their patience and understanding during a week of incredibly high temperatures.
