Two Killed in Mercer County Crash

ST. HENRY, Ohio (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Two people were killed overnight in a car crash in Mercer County.

Vincent Gragorace, 21, of Greenville, Ohio, and Craig Gengler, 22, of Celina, Ohio, died after a car driven by Ryan Billenstein, 27, of Coldwater, Ohio collided with two trees along State Road 119 and Fleetwood Road near St. Henry.

Billenstein and another passenger, Bethany Wentworth, 21, of Greenville, were taken to a hospital. Their conditions were not released.

Police say they pulled Billenstein over around 2:45 a.m. Saturday for erratic driving. An officer gave Billenstein a warning.

Moments later, authorities were called to the crash to a crash involving the same vehicle.

Police say the Billenstein lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree. The car burst into flames.

It is not known if anyone in the car wore a seat belt.
