FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Four years ago, Indiana went Democratic in the Presidential Election for the first time since 1964.
Local and state Democratic leaders look to continue that trend in this November's general election.
The Turn Indiana Blue bus tour rolled through the Summit City today, stopping at Allen County Democratic Party Headquarters.
The bus tour is not only designed to promote Democrats on the ballots, but also opposes Indiana's voter identification law and promotes new voter registration.
"This is a time where we need everybody to get excited," Democratic Allen County Council at-large candidate Sharon Tucker said. "Remembering that on Nov. 6, we need to get out and vote!"
The Turn Indiana Blue bus tour is in Fort Wayne until 8 p.m. Saturday.
