FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - A Fort Wayne man has admitted to killing another man outside a liquor store last summer.

Michael Lewis, 21, pleaded guilty Tuesday to voluntary manslaughter in the shooting death of Christopher Mhoon, 27, of Fort Wayne, at the Cap n' Cork, 5727 S. Anthony Blvd., on June 8.

Police say the shooting took place outside the store after an argument started inside the store. Mhoon's 10-year-old son was in a car in the parking lot during the shooting. The boy was not harmed.

Under the terms of the plea agreement, Lewis will serve 25 years in prison.

Formal sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 22.
